We Fix Problems Small And Large
If something bothers you about your smile then it is a problem worth fixing. The good news is that we have the capacity to correct anything you perceive as a flaw, no matter how small it may seem to the outside world.
For many of our patients, it has been a liberating experience to make the necessary minor improvements that allow them to smile BIG again.
Still, one perennial concern many patients have about cosmetic dentistry is the price tag. Another is the fear of pain or discomfort.
Fortunately, correcting one small but irritating aspect of your smile does not have to result in an expensive, time-consuming, less than pleasant process.
With dental bonding you will have a quick, comfortable procedure that won’t leave you in debt.
What Can Dental Bonding Correct?
Chips: Small areas of damage are what bonding is best for. The material will actually fill in any crack or chip and leave your smile looking completely refurbished.
Stains: Teeth can become discolored as you age or indulge in habits like coffee that have a cumulative effect on your smile’s hue. You will love how bonding can cover that tooth or multiple teeth in question so that your smile has a nice, bright, consistent look!
Uneven Teeth: We can use dental bonding to lengthen any shorter teeth to create more uniformity in your smile.
Gaps: Obviously, having spaces between your teeth is not an ideal situation. We can use dental bonding to widen the teeth on either side to fill the gap the easy way.
How Does It Work?
Like we said, the dental bonding process is painless and pleasant. Here’s how it works…
Preparing Your Tooth: The first step is to prepare your teeth to receive the bonding material. In order for the bonding material to stick, we have to make the surface of your tooth rough. We do this with a special acidic gel that we leave on your tooth for about 15 minutes. After we wash it off, your tooth will be ready to move forward!
Applying The Bonding Material: We take this material that has been blended in advance to match your natural shade and we carefully layer it onto your tooth. Each layer dries before we continue repeating the process until we get the job done for you.
Buffing it Out: Once we have finished applying the bonding material, we will buff and polish your tooth until it looks amazing.
Then you will be good to go!
