What to Expect From your New Patient Consultation
- Posted on: Nov 15 2018
If you are a new patient here at Clear Lake Dental Care, then welcome! We are so glad that you have decided to let us help you take care of all of your dental needs; whether they’re as simple as regular cleanings or more complex like a root canal. One of the things that we ask all of our new patients to do is attend a new patient consultation appointment. Let’s take a closer look at what you can expect from this appointment.
X-Rays, 3D Imaging, and Photos
The first thing that we will have you do when you come in for this consultation is to get some X-rays, photos, and 3D images taken. All of these types of images will help us take a closer look at your jaw, teeth, the inside of your mouth, and your overall facial structure. We will then put these images into a designated folder for you that your dentist will reference during your first appointment. These images are critical because they will help us determine if any issues need to be taken care of right away or if they can wait.
Questions
After we have taken all of the proper imaging that we need in order to become more familiar with your oral health, we will then have you meet with one of our coordinators. During this meeting, they will ask you a series of questions regarding your current and previous oral health. Also during this time, we encourage all of our new patients to ask any questions or voice any concerns that they have; this will help you become as equally acquainted with us as we are with you.
Are you ready to learn a little bit more about what you can expect from your new patient consultation appointment? Please schedule an appointment with us at our Webster office and contact us today at 281-557-8097.
